Rifat is a Visual Artist

Rifat Najmi is a visual designer and artist based in Jakarta. He has exhibited his work in several locations throughout the city, the last one was the "JAMS 10th" exhibition in 2013 where his mix-media art was showcased to great acclaim. Rifat has been active in the Jakarta art scene for several years and was even the youngest participant in Farah Wardani's "Fringes vol.1" in 2006.

Rifat's artistic journey has been deeply influenced by personal events in his life. After the passing of his father in 2022, Rifat found himself drawn back to his artistic roots. While going through his father's belongings, he discovered a collection of his artworks, all in excellent condition, that brought back many cherished memories. These discoveries inspired Rifat to pick up his brush and start painting again in 2023.

Despite his busy schedule as a design lead at a leading tech company, Rifat has made a commitment to his art, recognizing that it is a source of solace and fulfilment in his life. He has dedicated himself to continuing his artistic journey and exploring new techniques to express himself and share his story with the world. Rifat's passion and talent are sure to carry him far as he continues to create and exhibit his work in the coming years.
